St. Thomas Students Pursue Next Big Idea – Newsroom
Students symbolizing 25 majors competed in possibly the enterprise principle or social venture track. In addition, the Schulze School of Entrepreneurship launched the Kate Herzog Memorial Award this 12 months. The award, in honor of the late Kate Herzog ’09 MBA, supports aspiring social entrepreneurs with a enthusiasm for poverty alleviation, serving less than-resourced communities, and closing chance gaps. With 85 students distributing 59 business tips, the best 32 groups competed in the morning semifinals, with the top rated 4 groups from each and every monitor advancing to the finals in the afternoon.
